Website Hosting

We have a fundamental belief at Simon Brandon Website Design and Marketing – once we have built a website, the customer owns it. Sounds simple, yet so many web agencies insist that you use them for hosting. Would you buy a car then have to keep it at the showroom?

We will build a web site and host it where you want. There are three options for how this can work:

If you already have web hosting, we will host it there (as long as it meets the technical requirements of the site specified). If an upgrade is required, we will work with your existing provider.

If you do not have hosting yet, or wish to change provider, we can set up a hosting package for you with a reputable and tested supplier. Once set up, we pass on the login details to you and show you how to use it. You have total control.

If you do not want any of the hassle, we will set up hosting for you and look after everything. We will then bill you annually plus a small administration fee.

The main thing, whichever option you choose, is that you are in control. You also do not need to worry about the technical things – that is what you pay us for.

The hosting companies that we usually use are: 1&1 Internet or UK2.net - both are high quality, but low cost suppliers. We choose the most appropriate depending on the project.
